Following the power outages around Christmas, we decided to venture inside. Motivated by friends' recommendations, we were drawn to a small menu featuring fresh, seasonal products.
We waited to be served; the atmosphere was a bit noisy, but it is a bar, so that's to be expected.
Our dishes arrived beautifully presented and delicious. However, in my humble opinion, the portions didn't match the prices... especially for my wife's risotto. The quality was there, though; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, that's a fact. The children's menu was decent.
In short, for me, you're paying for the "trendy bar/restaurant" vibe, and while the food was good, we hadn't come for anything more than a proper meal.

Okay, so this is real bistronomy! I really want to start with the welcome and the staff: you're a stranger to the place, and within two seconds you feel comfortable and truly welcomed, just like at home! The food is top-notch, and the prices reflect that. Even if I had to find something to criticize, I wouldn't have a single thing to complain about... Big shout-out to Marie, who now knows how to make excellent seafood dishes!! I loved this place!

We visited this charming brasserie this summer and were greeted by a lively and very responsive team.
The owner is a very welcoming and attentive man. We ate quickly and very well for reasonable prices—even surprisingly so, given how well we know prices are in our region (Burgundy). Local meat, fresh produce, short supply chains... what more could you ask for, especially for food lovers looking for new flavors? We will definitely be back. Thank you for this experience! 👏🏼

After a short stroll through the town of Rodez, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. Friendly welcome and good food. (The game cannelloni with aged Rodez wine was excellent.)

This is truly the France we love. The local produce, the great atmosphere, the tradition! I travel a lot for work, and this is probably one of the restaurants that will leave the biggest impression on me, and one I hope to return to soon!
The food reminds me of a time I never knew, the time of my grandparents, when life, at least in those moments, was undoubtedly simpler.
I highly recommend it to any lover of good food! A lovely, warm place to stay when the winter wind sweeps across our beloved Rodez.
