Le Coq Noir sur Uvernet-Fours

A delightful surprise for us! The setting is ideal, the food absolutely delicious, and the service impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, which offered excellent value for money, especially considering we were in a ski resort.

I got ripped off by the bill (but that's normal, it's the mountains) but we ate pretty well and the (seasonal) waiters were nice, I'll come back sometime!

What do we do when the waitresses are unpleasant? The meal is already expensive enough; we'd like the service to match...

Le Coq Noir is very well located, facing the slopes and close to the lift ticket offices. The welcome is very pleasant and the food is excellent. The young waitresses are very graceful and incredibly energetic. The owners are also very friendly. In fact, we've come to Pra Loup for the second year in a row and we always eat at this restaurant. Lunch service is until 2:30 pm. I highly recommend it.

Simply the best meal I've ever eaten on any ski slope, across all resorts. The service is fast, the food is high quality, and the owners are super friendly. Go without hesitation and order the sweetbreads with morel and foie gras sauce!
