The welcome: We arrived a day late because I got the day wrong. A thousand apologies again. It felt like we were staying with friends. And longtime friends, given how relaxed and warm the welcome was. The food? Dishes as simple as they were delicious. Served in generous portions. With care. Simply top-notch. The night? The room? This is generally very poorly managed in most restaurants, but here the management was superb. The chef handled everything very well, and we enjoyed a relaxing meal with excellent value for money.
