Le Coq Rouge sur Reims

Very pleasant bar and excellent service

A regular at Le Coq Rouge, the only wine bar in Reims that combines a great wine list, delicious food, and a lovely musical atmosphere. Special mention for the always welcoming and professional staff!

We had actually been looking for a restaurant for our evening in Reims and hadn't paid close enough attention to the online reviews. It wasn't until we were inside the bustling and very cozy restaurant that we realized our mistake. A small menu and several enormous wine and champagne lists with prices only in the double digits, per bottle, of course. The Red Rooster is a wine bar with small plates. But what small plates! And when we asked the incredibly kind and friendly waiter if they only served bottles, he treated us to a selection of truly excellent wines, by the glass, naturally, at fair prices. We also enjoyed a large platter of appetizers (charcuterie and cheese) and the finest filet mignon imaginable. We couldn't resist: we ended this wonderful evening with champagne; after all, we were in Reims and very happy.

As always, a fantastic time spent at Le Coq Rouge, a place where you truly feel at home. A special shout-out to Axelle, very professional, who efficiently handled a rather persistent gentleman. It's reassuring and so pleasant to feel safe in this establishment. We always come back with a smile and a desire to discover new wines 😃

We absolutely loved this restaurant! Everything was perfect: from the beautifully designed setting to the quality of the food. The wine list is excellent and the service is truly attentive. A real gem, we'll be back!

An absolute must-try in Reims, especially for those looking for a great wine bar and restaurant. The food is of excellent quality, full of flavor, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff are very kind. Highly recommended!

Best wine bar in Reims since it opened. Everything is there for a great time. And at reasonable prices. Always a pleasure to go. Note: reservations are recommended. Kudos to Baptiste and his team for their consistency, atmosphere, and professionalism!

Great fun bar. Serves champagne in magnum sizes. How cool is that!! The french tapas bites particularly the baked camembert was out of this world! Need booking even on weekdays as they are very popular.
