Le Cordon Bleu sur Rixheim

Good food, good service, prices a bit high, even exorbitant for some dishes. Some days the atmosphere is a little tense between the husband and wife; you have to be used to it, but apart from that, nothing to complain about.

Given the numerous positive reviews, we went there almost without thinking. Disappointment ensued: the breaded veal escalope had soggy breading, the fries were bland, the vitello tonnato was overly salty, and the steak tartare lacked seasoning. Furthermore, we were seated next to a table of more than 12 people. This table was incredibly noisy; we couldn't even hear ourselves speak. Yet, many other tables were available (only 4 reservations in total inside the restaurant, enough to seat us just a few meters away). Initially, the restaurant employee asked if the table she was showing us was suitable, but the question was actually asked to my 25-year-old son, and the future occupants of the large table hadn't even arrived yet. An 87-year-old at our table couldn't stand the noise and refused to have dessert. Despite our complaint about the noise, no one offered to move us to a more distant table for dessert. As a result, we went home for dessert. It's a shame, the setting is lovely.

We had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant thanks to a gift certificate, and what a wonderful surprise! The setting is truly delightful and invites you to have a wonderful time. The dishes were absolutely delicious, with impeccable quality from start to finish. An experience we wholeheartedly recommend!

Always very good 😉 and excellent value for money

Passing through the area, I discovered this restaurant. A little gem for the taste buds! The decor is superb, the management and staff are incredibly kind, the dishes are refined and elegant with a presentation worthy of a fine dining establishment—everything is wonderful, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service is top-notch and attentive to the customer. I asked for a little whipped cream with my crème brûlée, no problem at all, and it was absolutely divine. It's a shame I live 700 km away, otherwise you'd see me there regularly. You can go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. So, a huge thank you to the chef for his talent, to the owner for her kindness and thoughtfulness, and to the staff for their professionalism and smiles. Don't change a thing; it's more than perfect! :)

Exquisite cuisine with homemade dishes and impeccable service. A perfect restaurant, especially for business lunches. Well done to the whole team!

Excellent meal. Pleasant place. The waiter was a bit intrusive for my taste. We'll be back.
