Le Cosmo sur Villefranche-Sur-Mer

The restaurant was absolutely incredible. We went there after a recommendation and were not disappointed. On the contrary, we had high expectations that were actually exceeded. The mussels cooked in wine were more than we have ever had and probably the best we have ever eaten in our lives. All this at very reasonable prices. The owner and staff were all very nice. We highly recommend eating here!

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant the day before yesterday. A huge thank you to Mongi for his warm welcome, his smile, his kindness, and his attentiveness throughout the meal. He gave us excellent advice on the dishes, although the wait was a little long, which is understandable as there were only two servers for the entire restaurant. Special mention goes to the mussels in cream sauce – they were excellent! One small negative point that made us feel very uncomfortable: we were shocked to see a new server arrive and put pressure on our server, speaking disrespectfully in front of us. Despite this, Mongi remained calm and professional. Well done for his composure and professionalism. A true server, the kind we wish we saw more often! We will definitely be back!

We came for breakfast and were pleased to find it was good quality. The new owner, James, has been here five weeks. You can just have a drink or eat a meal - the kitchen is open from 11:30. Although we did have a cooked breakfast as well as a delicious yogurt and fruits before 10. Fresh orange juice. James is very welcoming. We’ll be back often.

The food and atmosphere were amazing. The service could use improvement, but the view and food absolutely made up for it. I had the salmon tartare 😍. It was absolutely delicious.

Have been on holiday here in Villefranche sur Mer for a week. Been to several different restaurants during the week. But when we found LE Cosmo we became regular customers. The holiday was amazingly pleasant and lovely host and incredibly delicious food and a good selection on the entire menu, and a very nice location with a view out to the sea and right into the absolutely beautiful old town can definitely be recommended in the warmest way. You will be full too😍

Lovely setting, excellent service, and delicious food. The entire bar was divine. The restaurant has just changed hands. I highly recommend it!
