Le Cottage du Lac sur Bruges

Coming from Reims, we stopped at the Mercure in Bordeaux Lac, not far from the Cottage du Lac restaurant. An excellent experience, a very good restaurant with delicious and refined cuisine, using quality ingredients. The dishes were well-prepared, the service pleasant, and the staff competent and friendly. We had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this restaurant. Jocelyne and Bruno Colaone

Meh. A chanterelle purée with the meat was odd. There were four of us... the ice cream was changed in the dessert without us even asking... not at all what we expected, we won't be back.

The restaurant's terrace is lovely, overlooking a small lake. The staff is very friendly. The establishment offers a set lunch menu and a traditional à la carte menu. I chose a dish from the menu, which was veal kidneys, because I love them and they're very rare to find on restaurant menus. The dish was delicious.

We came for our 3rd anniversary and had a wonderful time. The dishes were all delicious, with original combinations you don't see everywhere. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the service and the food. And the sunset over the lake added a touch of magic to this exceptional moment!
