Very good experience. The food was flavorful. We had a pizza; it was generous and very good.

Generous and delicious dishes made with as many fresh ingredients as possible. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The owner spontaneously (and with a smile) offered to take away any uneaten food. Reservations are highly recommended, even essential! A must-visit in Gérardmer. Note: Second visit almost a year later, still just as good, owner and staff still just as welcoming. An address to remember!

We ordered raclette, and imagine our surprise when we learned we wouldn't be served raclette cheese; instead, the waitresses would be serving it to us. The cheese was overcooked and oozing with fat. If I had known, I would have ordered something else...

Fantastic lunch at Le Couaroge! The Savoyard fondue was generous and bursting with flavor. Everything is delicious, from the typical dishes of the High Vosges to the wood-fired pizzas. Seeing Marie-Hélène, whom I've known for a long time, is always a pleasure: her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism make all the difference. A must-visit in Gérardmer with a superb team from the front of house to the kitchen.

Updated October 29, 2025 We had a lovely time at this mountain restaurant with its warm atmosphere. The food was very good and the dishes were well-prepared—you can taste the chef's skill. The manager was particularly friendly and welcoming, which made the meal enjoyable. One small drawback, however: some things are charged extra, sometimes in a rather surprising way (even a slice of lemon in the Coke). Also, one waitress was a little less cheerful, which slightly detracted from the experience. Overall, a good meal, but these small details could be improved. October 2021 A super friendly welcome, delicious food, in short, a wonderful time spent with family enjoying Savoyard fondue, Alsatian sauerkraut, a munstiflette, and tofailles. All excellent!
