Atypical place, friendly setting, limited menu, fresh products, mastered cooking of crabs and langoustines, good mayonnaises (3 different), service and pleasant and relaxed atmosphere... A first experience which should not remain the last. I was seduced by this simple and pleasant concept.

Le Crabe-Marteau in Brest is an excellent address, especially if you are a crab lover. The atmosphere is typical and warm, with careful decoration and original table settings. Their specialty is crab, presented in a variety of recipes, but they also offer fish dishes. The team is professional, carefully explaining how to best enjoy their signature dish. The servers are adorable, the wine is quality, and the sauces that accompany the crab are delicious. I had a memorable experience, in a setting that was both atypical and family-friendly.

Very good, as usual! We apologize to the boss's wife because because of us, her husband came back stained with whipped cream. The Irish Coffee was excellent that said😂😂

First experience in this restaurant, and it was a great success. While in Brittany for the holidays, my friend and I had a great time. Fresh products, waiters who very kindly helped us cut the crabs. I recommend. Thank you for your welcome.

Professional meal. Located on the port, restaurant very surprising in its decoration, the tables are covered with newspaper and await you with 1 hammer in anticipation of your meal. We also lend you 1 apron to avoid splashes. Another specialty of this restaurant: abalone Finally we chose oysters, langoustines and periwinkles as starters. Then as a main course, scallops with small seasonal vegetables. Everything was excellent. The server was attentive and very friendly.

La Maison Blanche

16/03/2024: It's a blue house hanging on the hill, those who live there have thrown away the key... except that it's white and if you want to eat well in a magnificent setting in Brest, this is undoubtedly where you should go ( only at lunchtime). So it's a charming little room well exposed to the south at the foot of the sea. The welcome is really friendly and the cuisine is excellent, all for a very fair price. In addition, this restaurant which is located on the Gr34 will be suitable for hikers... It is above all a good stopover for walkers of Santiago de Compostela.
03/03/2024: Warm bar, lots of people on this Sunday afternoon. Very friendly waiter, a bowl of water available at the entrance for the dogs, and Damman tea please. A nice surprise
