Le Damier is a restaurant that definitely won't disappoint! The place is a single large room with a very high ceiling. Pretty, but a little noisy. The menu is reasonably sized yet quite extensive. The prices are in line with the average and, above all, in line with what's on offer. The dishes are generous and expertly prepared. For lamb lovers, I recommend their lamb shank 👍. The desserts 🍨 are good, even if a little classic. And as for the service and welcome, it's efficient, professional, attentive, and quick... Le Damier delighted us; their lamb was delicious, the dessert was satisfying, and I appreciated the bill.

Excellent value for money. The daily special was superb! The only slight drawback was the acoustics in the dining room. But it's really just a minor point. We highly recommend it!

We came on Friday for dinner. This is not our first time at Damier and we love coming to dine there with my partner. Nothing to complain about the food and the atmosphere which are always impeccable. On the other hand, we were a little "disappointed" by the service. We had the impression of having to hurry to eat and leave the place. The bottle of wine was brought with the aperitif. The dishes followed one after the other, especially the dessert. We had barely finished the main course when the plate was cleared and the dessert was brought, all in a few seconds. Regarding the wine service, in addition to being brought at the same time as the aperitif, the bottle was not presented and we were not given a taste. A bit of a shame for a bottle of Gevrey-Chambertin at almost €90. This is the first time this has happened to us at Damier but we are a little frustrated by the service for still more than €200 for 2 people. We arrived at 8pm and by 9:15pm the meal was finished and coffee was served. Beyond that, the waitresses were polite, helpful and professional.

The food was very tasty and delicious, the service was good, the restaurant is very beautiful and pleasant with fair prices, I loved my dessert. The only inconvenience was ordering a glass of wine and the wine was vinegary; the waitress hesitated to change it, but the head chef made the exchange. The restaurant is well located.
