Simple, no fuss, and above all, delicious!

We found this quiet gem late during our time in Montreal, but we made up for lost time as best we could. Here is a place where the neighborhood gathers to savor simple yet deceptively complex and perfectly portioned meals (vegetables!), reasonably priced, that one wants and should eat daily. Like the proverbial apple, a lunch a day at le Dauphin keeps the doctor away – but also puts a smile on the face and lightens the heart. Bon appetit!

Wow, a warm and welcoming place with generous cuisine 🙏 simple yet inventive, homemade food at such affordable prices (it still exists 🫶), it gets incredibly busy so booking is probably recommended, even though I was lucky enough to find a table ☀️👍 and the staff are lovely
