Delicious canteen with a variety of dishes. The pumpkin risotto was creamy as can be. Small downside for fans of rice pudding: the rice was too cold and therefore hardened and had a slight taste of artificial vanilla.

If a gourmet meal is a meal that respects the product, that enhances the aromas, that seeks the best pairings, even when working with simple, seasonal products... If a successful meal is delicious, generous, served with a smile and little touches that do everything else... So I can say that this evening I had a successful gourmet meal. I will definitely come back for lunch on the grass to rediscover this relaxed, caring atmosphere and this delicious cuisine! Well done

Très bon Restaurant la Joue de Boeuf était délicieuse bien que j'aurais vu un peu plus au niveau des quantités c'était très bon Excellente surprise pour la mousse au chocolat et explication du serveur sur la recette 👍 Temps d'attente un peu long pour un samedi midi ou il n'y avait que nous (4) dans le restaurant Serveur très agréable Je conseil absolument

03/04/2024: We had dinner at Dessance a couple of weeks ago and it was a great experience overall. It is a beautifully designed, intimate space with only a couple of tables and unlike in other restaurants in the Marais, you don't (literally) rub elbows with your neighbors. Culinarily, there is a bit of room to grow left - the six course vegetarian menu is delicious (and quite a bargain at 69 EUR p.p.) but we felt it was a bit of a shame to start with something fried. The consistency of the celery ravioli also wasn't our cup of tea but these things aside, we were very happy with our meal. Service was outstanding, as is the concept of drinks-upon-recommendation. The pairing I had was spot-on.
