Le Delos sur La Grande-Motte

The daily menu was very attractive and of excellent quality.

The setting is nice, the decor of the covered terrace is lovely, however, the chairs on that same terrace are awful; they're made for supermodels, and we weren't offered a choice of seats inside or outside. We were simply seated and not given a choice. Then, we were asked about drinks without being told what was available or having it listed on the menu—which makes sense, since €4.30 for a soda is expensive when it's cheaper elsewhere, even by the sea. And, as a side note, they didn't have Coke, only Pepsi, but the receipt for sodas listed it as "Coke Original" for a restaurant that doesn't sell it. We barely had time to open the menus before we wanted to order. We saw for ourselves the daily special, which wasn't presented to us, as if they didn't want to sell it. When we asked for an explanation of the menu, there were three prices listed. We had to ask what each price corresponded to, and from the waiter's tone, we felt like we were bothering him. We had barely ordered when the dishes arrived. The mussels marinière were good, but they came with a tiny portion of fries. Then the "gardienne de taureau" (bull stew)... what can I say? It tasted more like beef bourguignon, served with pasta that looked like it had been eaten the day before. It's the first time I've ever seen "gardienne de taureau" served without rice. Also, we had barely finished our meals when they were already clearing the table, even though one of the three of us hadn't finished their mussels, and they were already asking us to order dessert. Once everyone had finished, we ordered ice cream. Usually, you ask for the flavors at the same time, but no, the waiter left and came back with the menu without saying a word. Luckily, no one was visually impaired. And to top it all off, when you order ice cream, they take away your napkins. Finally, the waiters included one who, before her service t-shirt was pulled up like a crop top, looked very professional, and then smoked a cigarette in the middle of her shift, and the young seasonal worker who was bored and went around in circles, barely clearing the table as soon as we'd finished our plates, even if everyone else hadn't. And then there was the complete lack of communication: one waiter asked us about the platters, and then a second one asked us if we wanted desserts.

The team is super friendly. The food is very good. The owner is great.

Nice spot, full sun ☀️ no fan, server absent, busy with laptops. Peanuts are sold at a premium. Decent value for money.

On our first evening in La Grande Motte, we had dinner at this restaurant along the harbor. Communication was quite complicated; we couldn't speak English. We managed to order, albeit with some difficulty; the sandwiches arrived, but they didn't quite match our order. Good value for money considering the standard of the place, but it's a shame about the service.

The service was very friendly and relaxed; our group of four friends had a great time during the meal. The food was just as good, no complaints about the taste or the portions. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fun and laughter-filled experience!

This ideally located establishment is renowned as a favorite spot, even a veritable "canteen," for many seniors in La Grande Motte. We frequent it regularly, summer and winter, and it's always a pleasure to meet there.

This restaurant is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is also excellent. A very good experience. I highly recommend the chicken burger or the beef shank (don't worry, there's no shank in it 😂). I recommend this restaurant. Thank you very much, LE DELOS.

A calm and friendly place, unpretentious and relaxed... Comforting dishes, attentive service, I was served after 9 pm even though the kitchen seemed closed, and I wasn't rushed at all! Honestly, for a simple and delicious meal, I highly recommend it!
