When you pull up to this restaurant in the tiny village of Venosc, it looks very inviting... and it is. Unfortunately, we were expecting a proper regional dish, and the tartiflette was practically devoid of cheese with three or four lardons barely visible, the croziflette had little flavor (and hardly any lardons), and the duck leg was served with three salad leaves in vinaigrette... At €20 a dish, it doesn't exactly showcase the region's culinary expertise. We regretted our decision not to go to the two other restaurants in the village that had better Google ratings...

A lovely little restaurant with a warm welcome and they even welcome dogs! Very typical local cuisine. We hadn't booked and they seated us at 2 pm without any problem. I recommend the flambéed Camembert and everything else too. Thank you!

09/08/2026: The ice cream and sundaes were absolutely delicious. The price of the sundae might be a little high, but we thoroughly enjoyed it.
