Very good meal; pleasant service; but, it's a shame that we specifically asked for carafes of water and they were charged 2x6 euros on the bill: disappointing!

An exceptional lunch overlooking the sea! The dishes were not only excellent and refined but also beautifully presented. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere welcoming. We were fortunate enough to try the "Menu de nos côtes" (Tasting Menu), which we highly recommend!

An exceptional moment at Asten restaurant! We had a fantastic time sharing a meal with Samuel and Tina. Tina's welcome in the dining room was incredibly warm, yet friendly and refined, which immediately put us at ease. On the plate, Samuel's cuisine is exquisitely sophisticated. Special mention goes to his work with cuttlefish and samphire, as well as the lobster and artichoke, which were truly exceptional! As for the wine list, we made some wonderful discoveries, including a perfectly paired Mâcon white and a truly remarkable white wine from the Jura region. We had a lovely time at La Table d’Asten, with its beautiful setting and magnificent beach views, which is undoubtedly one of the restaurant's highlights. The dishes were good and well-prepared, but for a Michelin-starred restaurant, we found the experience a little below our expectations. The amuse-bouches, in particular, were very simple: a cheese toast for the gluten-containing option and carrots for the gluten-free option. The starters and main courses were well-executed, but not memorable enough to give us the impression of a Michelin-starred gastronomic experience. The service was adequate, but again, a little disappointing compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants we've visited. We noticed that neighboring tables received more detailed explanations about their dishes than we did. On the other hand, the gluten-free experience was excellent. We had informed them in advance, and the dishes were adapted without difficulty and remained very close to the classic version. We were also served gluten-free bread from a local bakery, warmed in the oven and excellent.

The food is great, I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight with family who introduced us to this restaurant. It's run by a charming couple who, through their energy and determination, create, prepare, and cook dishes of exceptional quality. The chef crafts flavor combinations by pairing seafood and meat. I wasn't thrilled about the idea of ​​eating spider crab or cuttlefish, but I'm so glad I let myself be persuaded. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the view of the beach and the sea was an added bonus. Hats off to them!
