Beautiful location, really nice morning atmosphere. A major downside despite everything... The disastrous state of the toilets which may suggest that a staphylococcus could very well be served to you on the terrace. Please take care of your toilets.

Thank you very much to our server Michel… Drinks (excellent violet syrup) and Tapas Varieties also very good… thank you to him for introducing us to the violet flavor in syrup humm!! Don’t hesitate to try it out…this is not very common

Excellent pissaladière starter. Following fish aioli, a very small piece of cod which was good but I didn't like the whelks which I had never eaten, it was too rubbery, I didn't know 😪. In summary, small ration. Very friendly personal welcome, especially a young lady who takes care of children. She took the time to draw a cute unicorn drawing for our little girl.

Great place to grab a couple of drinks, didn't eat anything so can't comment on the food but the service was spot on and the drinks were good, Sangria and IPA were good (they have a good beer selection), champagne was on the warm side and you don't get any little nibbles with the food but it is cheap. People watching from here is great as you are right on the roundabout so everyone is wandering around and the general ambiance is perfect for a hot summers evening.

I had a perfectly fine experience here. Ordered a Campari spritz shortly after sitting and it came within a few minutes. I was able to pay quickly and had to the apple store for my appointment. Drink was fine and the staff were okay, fairly pleasant.

Le Cardeur Bacchus

07/09/2024: Very pleasant place, due to its location on the Place des Cardeurs. Trendy decoration, and good products. On the other hand, it's impossible to get a hello from the waiters even if they came the day before... What a shame to push us not to come back!
23/08/2024: I find the comments very harsh! We had lunch one afternoon and we were welcomed with southern hospitality: not proutprout and very friendly. The menu is simple (which is often a sign of freshness) the dishes are very good: we ate a salmon tartare and thyme chicken with fries and mash, we enjoyed ourselves. The prices are correct for a restaurant in the heart of Aix and what we had on our plate.
