We had a wonderful evening where Carla, Michel, and Vasco's friendliness made us feel right at home. The meal was full of surprises, including excellent prawns! Thank you for this lovely time, and enjoy your well-deserved retirement!

An ideal hotel for hikers: clean room, hot shower, comfortable bedding. Add to that Michel and his wife, who make your stay enjoyable with a wealth of information, and you'll be delighted to come to Cassel. A more personal message: We wish you a wonderful trip. Enjoy!

Not well-maintained in my opinion; the rooms are too small and not clean enough. DISAPPOINTING. On top of that, the owner tried to rob me; we had to call the police. In short, I do not recommend it.

19/07/2026: This is a place that truly deserves to be known! Everything was perfect. The rib-eye steak was exceptional—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! The homemade Béarnaise and Roquefort sauces were simply delicious and perfectly complemented the meat. Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and kindness. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place!

11/05/2026: A lovely pub with a beautiful setting, both inside and out, and very attractive interior decor. There aren't as many traditional Flemish games available inside as in other pubs. The carbonnade was a bit of a disappointment; it lacked sweetness and was rather bland. The Welsh rarebit, however, was very good. They have a great beer selection! The service was a little cold and the food was a bit slow to arrive.
01/04/2026: Great atmosphere with lots of regulars. It's warm and welcoming, just like a traditional pub should be.
