Le Forperet sur Aime

An incredibly welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere, a lovely interior, and excellent food. The small farm next door adds a special touch. Simply amazing!

The children loved the farm and we ate there. It was delicious.

A magnificent farm in a bucolic setting, where you immediately feel the passion for the work. The animals seemed peaceful and perfectly accustomed to visitors, especially the rabbits, who appeared completely unstressed. The goats do have a shaded area (contrary to some reviews), although, like true mountain goats, they didn't always seem in a hurry to spend the day there. After all, they're mountain goats, not office goats. 😄 At this rate, they'll soon need air conditioning. Aurélie enthusiastically showed us how La Chaudronnette, an excellent artisanal cheese made on-site, is made. Rolland, for his part, lovingly shared his daily life with the cows and goats, the milking he does every day, and their lives in the mountain pastures. The restaurant was also a wonderful discovery: excellent cuisine, lots of farm products and local produce, and a truly fantastic team! And for our daughter, the pony ride brought a sparkle of joy to her eyes. An authentic, family-friendly, and vibrant place. We leave with wonderful memories… and of course, some Chaudronnette beer!

The view is breathtaking and the food is excellent! The welcome is warm. A great time, well worth the trip!

Excellent outing for children. Goats, calves, rabbits, pigs, and games. Breathtaking views. Delicious homemade food. Top-notch service. A little disappointed by the crepes, but overall very happy! Thank you to the whole team, we'll be back! ❤️

Unfortunately, we didn't eat in the restaurant, but we had our afternoon snack there, and our children loved the crepes. We bought some cheese, which was delicious. The setting was beautiful; I told my husband I regretted coming so early because I would have loved to eat there, especially since the menu looked so tempting. The staff was also excellent, and the mini-farm was great for children.

We dined twice at Le Forperet during our stay in Longefoy. The Savoyard specialties were much appreciated, even during this heatwave! Friendly welcome.

Just passing through for a snack, but the view was magnificent, the setting very pretty. A peaceful spot. The blueberry tart was excellent. View of the farm and animals. Local products for sale.
