First time and definitely not the last. The welcome was wonderful, followed by dishes made with excellent ingredients and a lot of thought put into them. It's hard to find good food these days, but everything was excellent.

Very nice people and super attentive service. The vongola daily special wasn't bad; the sauce with tarragon was tasty but not comparable to the one in Italy. Stuffed egg with bread was tasty.

We had a very good time at L'Escale. The food was good and plentiful, the terrace pleasant, and a special mention goes to the two waiters who were very professional and friendly.

Restaurant La Tourmente Montalbert

03/04/2026: We had a lovely meal here last night. Very welcoming staff got us seated and were well timed in coming back for a drinks order. We had three generations sitting and the menu catered well. The kids menu ticked all the boxes and was homemade through and through. The costs/fare in all these restaurants are very similar so maybe it was the friendly staff who made the difference for us 🤗 Would happily return. D

22/08/2026: An incredibly welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere, a lovely interior, and excellent food. The small farm next door adds a special touch. Simply amazing!
