Le Fournil D'elina sur Poitiers

Passing through Poitiers on our way to our holiday destination, we were looking for a sandwich. We weren't disappointed by our stop at this bakery, chosen at random. The bread was excellent, as was the filling. It was a far cry from a sandwich overflowing with mayonnaise. We rediscovered the simple pleasure of a real butter sandwich with excellent bread. Thank you for this little treat that brightened our journey.

The "best" in Poitiers for us! The tarts are to die for! The breads are flavorful and perfectly baked! Well done for keeping the wood-fired pizza tradition alive 😋😋😋💪 Well done to the team!

Finally, a bakery that uses sourdough...

My review only concerns the "bakery" on the market square in Poitiers. It's actually a bread depot, not a bakery. The bread is very good, with a wide variety. The young waitress is very friendly. However, the premises are far too small, which is very discouraging when there are more than 10 people waiting, as they end up waiting outside. Furthermore, because there's so little space, the crates of bread are placed directly on the floor, right where customers walk to queue. Hygiene-wise, it's rather poor.

I've been a customer for a long time, some of the breads are undercooked.

Excellent organic bakery. Very good sourdough bread. Plenty of other choices, but don't come too late. I also love the pastries. For me, it's the best bakery in Poitiers Saint-Benoît. Unfortunately, the parking lot is small. Unfortunately, the wait can sometimes be long, as the staff are rather slow.

Always a warm welcome. It's always busy, yes, but that's a sign of their quality products, I think. We mainly get the pizzas; they're simply delicious. Very generous portions with quality ingredients, cooked in a wood-fired oven 🤗 We sometimes get the walnut bread—a real treat. Recently, I had a whole-grain loaf.

The organic sourdough breads are amazing. Delicious pastries. Eat-your-mouth sandwiches. The bugnes (French doughnuts) are scrumptious. I recommend it 200%!
