Le Voltaire works jointly with the Hôtel Chaptal in Amboise. We had dinner there: well-balanced menu, very friendly service, very reasonable price/quality ratio

Home cooking It's been a long time since I last saw and ate a homemade salad, the only one I eat. Easter pâté a delight. The celery remoulade is super good. The perfect stew and gratin dauphinois. The fish dish too. The welcome and service are very attentive. I recommend more more

This restaurant is an experience to try in Amboise, the setting is already splendid. You will be received by two extremely friendly and funny men. The chef does his job to perfection. Advice from friends: Go for it!!!!

Coming to Amboise to visit the castle, we came across this little restaurant by chance. Warm and very friendly welcome, 100% homemade cuisine based on fresh produce, very well executed. The prices are correct and in line with the quality of the dish. We recommend. Thank you for this moment.
