A quick visit to this typical Savoyard restaurant nestled in the upper town of Saint-Gervais. We arrived without a reservation and found it full. The host told us to wait and that he would try to find us a solution. Just a few minutes later, we had a table. The set menu was €37, including a starter, main course, and dessert. The portions were generous and delicious. The menu is extensive. The service was brisk and the atmosphere lively. The staff was very friendly. There's a nice wine list with a lovely selection. We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant, which I highly recommend for both the food and the ambiance.

We had a wonderful time at Le Galeta restaurant. The service was impeccable, the waiters very attentive. We had raclette and fondue, and they were delicious. We will definitely be back.
