Le Galway, Irish Pub sur Paris

Great pub, with awesome atmosphere. Felt almost too much like home, the staff was American like the food. We stopped in for a quick drink and some snacks then it started to rain and decided to have more drinks.

Excellent experience: friendly, helpful, and professional staff. We drank beers during Happy Hour, and the large house lagers cost €4.50 (until 8:30 PM, but I don't know if they're available every day). The sandwiches were good: we had a classic one and one with various sauces, and both came with chips and salsa. Recommendation❣️

Nice, friendly pub, but watch out for the whisky prices and quantities. My first whisky, Bushmills Green, cost €9, was ordered from a bartender who looked like McGregor. It was poured into a glass with a shot glass as a measure. My second, a proper shot glass with the same quantity, cost €6, served by a waitress. Conclusion: It's a rip-off! The glasses with a shot glass are a rip-off, or the bartender is incompetent and tips himself off the customers—it happened right in front of me! 😂 Order a shot glass and you'll save €3 for the same amount. Watch out for the quantities, McGregor! Self-tips aren't legal! 😂 The owner will find out one day! 🤣

A lovely place to stop for drinks. I saw that home made food is also available but did not try. A fair selection of NA beer.

My favorite spot on the Quai des Grands Augustins, full of memories, friendships, and cool staff. I hope to be back soon! 🍻

Sometimes you're lucky enough to walk into a pub that makes you want to move to the area - this is one of those pubs. We felt like years-long regulars after half an hour. Matthew is fantastic as is the Canadian girl who's name I didn't take. If you're in the area you have to visit

Nice bar, ideally located. Good beers, good music. Perfect for a drink after a long walk. Very good fish and chips too!
