Beautiful restaurant, great laid back service. Food was well presented and very tasty, seasonal. Wines also great.

Amazing wine selection with a lot of local wine growers. Perfect adress to try some of the most iconic growers of the Aube at super good price. Unique menu for dinner. Full of flowers and character.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - AMAZING! Our experience at La Garde Champêtre was nothing short of extraordinary from beginning to end. Everything came together perfectly: the atmosphere, the service, and above all, the food. The setting is warm and inviting, creating a relaxed yet refined dining experience. The service was impeccable—attentive without ever being intrusive. Glasses were continuously and thoughtfully refilled, and fresh bread was brought to the table throughout the meal without us ever needing to ask. The champagne selection was phenomenal and set the tone for what followed. The bread itself deserves special mention—absolutely delicious and clearly made with great care. Each dish that followed was beautifully composed, with unique and surprising flavor combinations that felt both creative and deeply rooted in authentic preparation. There is a clear sense of craftsmanship in the kitchen, with every plate showing balance, precision, and respect for ingredients. It is rare to encounter a restaurant where every single element—from the smallest detail to the overall experience—feels so well executed. Frankly, it is surprising that La Garde Champêtre does not hold a Michelin star. Based on our experience, it would be more than deserved.

What a restaurant!! Wow! Bravo, bravo, bravo! Everything is top-notch: the welcome, the service, and the food. Simple ingredients elevated to new heights. This is reflected in the bill, which offers exceptional value for money. The wine list is enormous, with a strong focus on champagnes, of course.

A truly excellent restaurant. The setting is unique, in this railway warehouse from another era. The chef's cuisine, based on local and organic produce, is elevated by the perfect balance of flavors. The wines are good; it's a shame that wine pairings aren't offered! The service is professional.

I never expected to find such an amazing restaurant in Champagne. The food was a testament to the delicate sensibility of a Japanese chef, beautifully blending the beauty of Japanese cuisine with French techniques. Every dish was carefully prepared, with gentle and elegant flavors. The lunch course was beautifully balanced, and each dish was impressive, from appetizer to dessert. The combination of the main ingredient and the accompanying vegetables was exquisite, beautifully highlighting the quality of the ingredients. The sauce was also delicious, with a delicate and deep flavor that somehow had a Japanese nuance. The chef's attention to detail and sense can be felt in every dish, making this a restaurant that makes you want to savor the food itself. The food, space, and ambiance were all wonderful. This is a special restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Champagne. I look forward to returning.

We discovered this restaurant on our way to Troyes, but unfortunately, no tables were available. We were charmed by the decor, which was both modern and rustic, and promised ourselves we'd return. A true culinary discovery. We enjoyed new flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The service was impeccable, and the dining room was simply but tastefully decorated. A delightful moment of respite on this rainy day.
