Le Globe sur Rennes

It's always a pleasure to dine at Le Globe because of the restaurant's unpretentious atmosphere, and the owner is as friendly as ever. The quality of the ingredients is consistently excellent, and the value for money is unbeatable. I should also mention that the new waiter and waitress are very professional.

A wonderful discovery! This little restaurant has all the qualities of a much larger one. The staff is young and very friendly, the chef works alone in the kitchen, visible behind the glass, yet there's hardly any wait! And the dishes are beautiful and delicious from start to finish. Bravo!

From the outside, you might doubt what the place has to offer. Big mistake, because it was a superb culinary discovery, by far my best memory in Rennes. The calf's head carpaccio was sublime, and the bluefin tuna steak was cooked to perfection. There were three of us, and the rest of the dishes were of the same high standard. It's more than just a detour; we'll definitely be back. The waitstaff was very pleasant and professional. A sure bet in Rennes. I recommend it without hesitation. Don't change a thing. Second visit to Rennes. Whilst staying at the Appart’hôtel Odalys I. Rennes. The reception highly recommended Le Globe to us. Excellent recommendation for fantastic French cuisine at a reasonable price. Generous potion size and tasty. Attentive staff and service were excellent. Definitely return again when next in the area. Highly recommended, reservations recommended.

Le Globe is a true gem in Brittany. The chef is exceptionally talented: creative, precise, and each dish is a genuine culinary experience. Everything is perfectly executed, from the flavors to the presentation, with a true identity and a great deal of emotion on the plate. It's a place I adore, and every visit is a unique experience.
