Le Goeland sur Ajaccio

Great, somewhat unusual food. Friendly service team who also speak good English. Everything was perfect. We'll gladly come back.

Everything was top, I ate a grilled veal rib, cooked, tasted and tender, exceptional.

On the evening of the eclipse, our large group (with children running around) had a wonderful time, thanks to the attentive service. The new team that took over Le Goéland has put a lot of effort into revitalizing this beach bar and offering a high-quality menu. Special mention goes to the miso eggplant, the veal Abbatucci, the cheesecake, and the peaches with verbena. We missed the open-air cinema screening, but we will definitely be back.

We had dinner last night at Le Goéland where we received a super warm welcome from Tom, a great waiter! The food was very good, we highly recommend this little beach bar.

We had a wonderful time at Le Goéland: the food is more than excellent (the starters in particular are truly sophisticated; we had the mussels, the crudo with stracciatella, and the rigatoro) and the staff are lovely. Go for it!

Everything was perfect: the dishes (though the portions were a little small) were delicious, the cheesecake was amazing, and the music was just right. The service and staff were fantastic!

We stumbled upon it almost by chance during the last two days of our vacation... and in the end, we decided to return the next day. And for me, who always wants to change things up on vacation, see and discover new places, this says it all! ❤️ A beach that truly stands out from the rest. The owners, like everyone who works there, are incredibly kind: smiling, helpful, and always attentive, without ever being intrusive. We rented two deckchairs, at a very reasonable price, but the real gem for me was the place. First of all, it was gorgeous. Decorated with incredible taste, with attention to every detail. But then comes the food... I admit: when I see a restaurant that's a little too "posh," I'm always prejudiced 😂 I often get the impression that they pay more attention to appearance than to what's on the plate. Here, it's exactly the opposite. For two days in a row, I literally felt like I was in heaven 😂❤️ Everything was delicious, from start to finish. Even the bread was exceptional: I mopped up the bread several times because I didn't want to leave a single drop! And the raw amberjack... something inexplicable. One of those dishes you keep thinking about even after you've finished eating. Thank you for these two days and especially thank you for your hospitality and kindness. You made the final part of our vacation even more beautiful ❤️

We dined at this restaurant and were delighted by the quality of the food. The dishes were perfectly executed, and you could tell there was a real chef at the helm. Everything was delicious. However, the portions were a bit small. I chose the sea bass, and its side dish consisted of just half a tiny eggplant. We also had a minor issue with my partner's dish being overcooked. These things happen, but the service lacked professionalism. The team, still young, would benefit from more training in customer relations. Despite these minor points, the quality of the food is well worth the trip.
