Le Gorille sur Saint-Tropez

Fine anni 70 inizio anni 80 , si attravcava in sesta fila , dopo aver attraversato tutte le altre barche , a cena al Gorille, Champagne, bouillabaisse e Vascerin. Adesso è cambiato molto il mondo è cambiato molto . Voto al passato che non ci sarà più, però fortunatamente l'ho vissuto.

Pur restaurant de passage, sans grand intérêt… le serveur nous a à peine parlé, uniquement pour dire « bonjour ». Le personnel est en général peu aimable mais le croque monsieur était assez bon. La localisation et le prix fait vraiment la différence !

An institution since the 1930s, this bar restaurant is just a myth. Of course it's not a gourmet restaurant, but that's not what discerning customers are looking for when they go there. The Gorilla is the soul of Saint Tropez in the same way as its bell tower or its Place des Lices. Simple, good and efficient cuisine without fuss and at very reasonable prices.

An authentic and historic place among so many restaurant chains. We ate salad, omelet, fries and sausages. Very good value for money, and the waiter was very friendly

The bar is quite well located, we just came for a drink. The reception is quite cold however, and the credit card is only authorized from 20€. The little extra is the possibility of having almond milk instead of classic milk, very practical when you are intolerant!
