Overall, a very good experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the meal truly superb, and the general atmosphere very pleasant. It's a comfortable place to be and a great place to spend time, which is essential. However, there was one small drawback concerning the waitress: at times, I wasn't sure if she was joking or making veiled barbs. As a result, there were a few slightly awkward moments where I wasn't quite sure how to react. Another point for improvement: we ordered meat, which was cooked perfectly and delicious, but the knives weren't suitable. They were more like butter knives, which made carving quite difficult. Proper meat knives with serrations would definitely be a plus. Despite these minor issues, I have very fond memories of this place and the meal.

16/06/2026: This was my second visit to this restaurant. The owner's welcome and service were once again superb, despite my late arrival. The owner's cooking was generous and excellent. Both the owner and the owner were very friendly. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

La boucherie

12/07/2026: A wonderful experience at La Boucherie de Challans! There were four of us, and we had a fantastic time from start to finish. The welcome was warm and professional, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and the service was impeccable. We had a soft drink, main course, and dessert for just under €120. The portions were generous (with unlimited fries), the food was high quality, and the servings were excellent. We highly recommend this place for a great family meal. We'll definitely be back!
