Le Gourmandin sur Beaune

A very pleasant surprise. We stumbled upon this place while passing through Beaune. The service was friendly and accommodating, the food was high quality and served quickly – I highly recommend it.

A truly wonderful place. The cuisine is perfectly executed, generous, and authentic. Dishes like they used to make! A marvelous discovery made by chance during an impromptu lunch break on our holiday road trip. We will definitely be back.

If you're looking for a place where you'll feel instantly welcome, L'Écrit'Vin is a must. My visit to this establishment was a true success, both for the palate and the mind. Highlights of the experience: A radiant welcome and service: From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is set. The welcome is incredibly friendly, sincere, and unpretentious. You can feel a genuine desire to please, which makes the experience particularly relaxing. Beyond the friendliness, the professionalism is evident. The staff knows their menu perfectly, offers sound advice (especially on food and wine pairings, a must in this region!, and regarding allergens in the dishes), and provides smooth and attentive service. As for the food, a special mention goes to the cod loin: perfectly cooked to a pearly sheen, with melt-in-your-mouth flesh and seasoning that enhances the fish without overpowering it. I will gladly return on my next trip to Beaune!

This review is for the restaurant. The food and the service was very good. I had the chicken and I must say, it was really really good. The chicken breast was soft and not dry. I also like the appetiser that was in white wine sauce (forgot the name of the dish). The homemade ham was delicious too. Desserts was good.

A wonderful welcome for my dad's 60th birthday! There were six adults and three children in our party. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the Burgundy menu! The staff were warm and generous. Thank you so much, we'll definitely keep this address in mind for a future family weekend!

This was the best meal from our entire 3-day stay in Beaune. We loved it so much that we came back for dinner in our last night. Christian and the entire staff are so warm and welcoming. We felt at home here, in this wonderful environment. The food was absolutely incredible. We had the escargot, boeuf bourgignon, and Norwegian pancakes. Also incredible wine selection. Top notch!!
