A truly wonderful discovery. The chef's creativity and the quality of service, combined with the delicious flavors of every dish, allowed us to have a truly excellent time at "Le Goût du Jour" restaurant. After this first experience, we can confirm that the value for money is outstanding for this level of dining.

There were dishes that incorporated Japanese elements, such as using wasabi, yuzu, and shiso, as well as variations on katsu sandwiches. The changes in flavor and the surprises made it enjoyable until the very end. The wide variety of wines available by the glass was also a plus.

A pleasant experience at this discreet restaurant with its lovely setting, excellent cuisine, and good service. Just one small complaint about the risotto—not because of how it was cooked, but because I don't like risotto! In short, very good: good value for money and a calm atmosphere.

A dinner at Le Goût du Jour was marked by impeccable and warm service. However, the dishes sometimes lacked balance. The overly sharp acidity of the lemon overwhelmed the delicate asparagus. The lamb, while flavorful, lost its appeal due to a shredded texture that sacrificed its chewiness. Finally, the dessert disappointed with the overwhelming dominance of chocolate, obscuring the olive's very essence. A promising establishment that would benefit from allowing its main ingredients to shine more.

We had a wonderful evening as a party of four. The welcome was very warm, and we opted for the four-course menu, which was made even better by a stunning dessert with basil ice cream at the end—I won't say any more. All this was complemented by a superb wine list and excellent advice on our selections. A truly delightful discovery.

This was the best food that I have had in Avignon. Each dish was a delightful explosion of flavors. The chef himself came out to explain the dishes to my table, in English. The service was amazing and the lighting, the decoration, the music, the entire atmosphere was incredible. I would dine here again and again and again.
