A real gem in Chaumont!
A warm and very professional welcome, a beautiful setting, and top-notch service. Special mention to the waitress, who was truly pleasant and attentive.
After being turned away elsewhere because of our small dog, we were welcomed here without any problem—a real plus! 👍
As for the food: an excellent trout platter to share, a perfectly cooked beef fillet, and a fresh salad. Quality ingredients, everything was delicious.

We made a quick stop at this restaurant in Chaumont, where we were greeted by smiling and friendly staff. When we had the menu in hand, it was difficult to choose from the dishes served at our neighboring tables, each more appetizing than the last. Beyond the visual appeal and generous portions, the flavors were superb! The wines were excellent and reasonably priced. In short, if you didn't have a reason to visit Chaumont before, now you do with Grain de Sel!
