Fair prices, generous portions of starters and main courses (well-balanced and beautifully presented) and good quality ingredients! We weren't expecting such a beautiful plate of trout as our starter! 🙏🏻👏💖
We're staying at Domaine de Trimeule (the restaurant was recommended by them on their website). A perfect way to complete our short stay.

Perhaps the meats were a little overcooked, especially a leg of lamb that must have been overcooked by at least a third…
The shellfish were a bit better.
Lots of variety in the Japanese dishes.

22/05/2026: Passing through Burgundy, we had lunch at this restaurant. A friendly welcome with a buffet and a variety of dishes: we had andouillettes and fries. Thank you for a lovely time.
15/05/2026: We've been coming back here for a very long time because of Claude and his waitress's kindness; they're always so pleasant and smiling. We also appreciate the simple, delicious food in such a welcoming atmosphere!
What's more, the restrooms are always spotless, which is far from the norm! Well done to the whole team, keep up the great work!

28/05/2026: No welcome whatsoever, loudly belittling customers, pure madness from two raging beasts, the owner and waitress completely out of touch with absolutely no manners or professionalism! Ladies, you urgently need to consider changing careers or going back to school to study hospitality and receive rigorous and instructive training, because it seems you know nothing about the business.
Luckily, your regulars are there to keep the place afloat; in another city, you would have been closed down a long time ago! A word to the wise...

29/04/2026: I was very disappointed with my stay. The restaurant stops taking orders at 8:30 pm, which is incomprehensible for a hotel supposedly catering to travelers. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms, which makes working or even simply accessing the internet extremely difficult. The rooms are really small, far below expectations.
Frankly, avoid this place.
25/04/2026: We booked a table at this restaurant and received a very warm welcome. The table was beautifully set, the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff particularly attentive and caring throughout the meal. The dishes were delicious, well-presented, and of high quality.
As a dietician, I would like to make one small observation: the lack of vegetables on some dishes surprised me.
There were no vegetables served with the steak tartare or the burger, and only a small portion with the duck à l'orange.
This is a shame, because even in high-quality establishments, a balanced meal is essential—vegetables should ideally play a more prominent role.
Despite this, we had a very enjoyable time, and the food was still excellent.

06/07/2026: A terrible experience at this McDonald's today.
From the start, the service was inconsistent. I asked to pick up my takeout order directly through the table service after ordering in. I was told it was fine… but it was never actually processed.
When I went to pick up my order, it was ready for table service. An employee handed it to me marked "takeout," and when I explained that it was for dining in, she said yes… but without properly correcting the situation.
Then, my daughter simply asked for a balloon. The woman replied, "I'll check…" and in the end, nothing at all. A broken promise, no attention whatsoever.
And to top it all off: I went to the restroom for two minutes (leaving my bag next to the table to avoid taking it with me), and an employee almost threw my bag, with all the food inside, in the trash. Unacceptable.
Between the lack of organization, the lack of listening, and the poor consideration for customers, it's really an experience that needs improvement. Very disappointed.

Restaurant l'Etoille d'Or

09/11/2023: Following a car breakdown, my assistance put me up for one night in this hotel.
I was given the suite, very clean, at first glance nice but no heating (it showed 14°8), I had to ask for an auxiliary radiator. In the second bedroom for children no radiator is provided. The one in the master bedroom should not be covered but if you close the curtains it is behind it and therefore unusable.
There is a basket with extra pillows, a good idea in principle but how do you know how long they have been there and if they have not already been used
In the morning I had the displeasure of discovering that breakfast had been canceled by my assistance and the way the boss told me this by offering it to me did not make me want to accept, however. I would have greatly appreciated it after spending a good part of the evening...
The following night I refused to go back, the bedding was good but that's not everything
31/10/2023: I came to eat lunch with friends at the L'Étoile d'or restaurant, the setting is nice with a very beautiful fireplace at the back of the restaurant.
The staff is pleasant and the meal was very good and plentiful.
I recommend.
