A superb experience with top-notch service! The dishes are excellent, perfectly balanced. If you're a chocolate lover, we recommend the chocolate fondant with a passion fruit center. This dessert is delicious and worth the trip!

Great restaurant! The beef chuck burger was a generous portion with quality ingredients, the wine sauce was delicious, and the dessert was also very good. I'm delighted to have eaten here; the staff is also very pleasant. The terrace and setting are also very enjoyable.

We regularly pass through Brive because our son lives in Toulouse. We stopped at this pleasant and cozy restaurant. The food was delicious from start to finish, and we received excellent wine recommendations! We'll definitely be back! The Poitevins ;)

A wonderful discovery! The cuisine was flavorful, original, and refined, offering excellent value for money for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert €21). We ordered à la carte the Calamarata with coconut green curry and prawns, which was incredible, and the cod fillet with gremolata sauce, which was delicious. For dessert, the citrus ravioli were a surprising and successful creation, and the pavlova was excellent, full of subtle nuances. The service was efficient, and the restaurant was full. The dining room is beautiful and comfortable; we felt very welcome. We will gladly return!

A table was reserved for two on a Saturday evening. We were seated quickly, and our order was taken immediately. We waited with a drink for our food, which was made to order, a sure sign of homemade quality. The burger was a little dry, but the sauce provided for the fries improved things. The place was cozy and quiet. The service was friendly and professional. I recommend it.

11/06/2026: C. Forget's bistro is a remarkable bistronomic restaurant. Remarkable for its decor and ambiance, with lunch on the perfectly shaded terrace. Excellent service from a young apprentice in fine training and a highly skilled head waiter. Lunch was truly praiseworthy; the perfect egg in brioche with morel sauce was worth the trip alone. And finally, there's Mr. Christophe Forget, a true professional who loves his work and his customers. For those who don't know him, check out his fantastic YouTube channel. We've received so many compliments, of course (though we're neither friends nor family), that's what we told him and what we think. Go to his bistro; you won't regret it. Thank you, Christophe Forget. Martine and Jean-Luc from Vendée.

23/03/2026: What a surprise! We had a reserved table and were greeted very warmly at 7:30 pm as requested. We had a choice of several tables and were very comfortable under the veranda. The menu looked enticing, our order was taken quickly, and then came the surprise: superbly presented, hot plates and delicious food. The menu was comprehensive and well-stocked, the desserts were superb, and all this without breaking the bank. The only slight drawback was that a few peanuts would have been a welcome addition to the aperitif. THANK YOU AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU AGAIN SOON. VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS.
