We showed up for lunch without a reservation and received an immediate and warm welcome. The service was excellent and the explanations very thorough. The lunch menu was varied and delicious. What a pleasure to find a restaurant that truly knows its stuff! We will definitely be back. 🏆

A truly delightful discovery. I had read a few reviews before deciding, but this place far exceeded our expectations. The welcome was simple and warm, the service attentive and efficient. The dishes kept coming, everything was beautifully presented, with high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared. In short, we had a wonderful time! Thank you to the entire team.

A wonderful discovery at Restaurant Amédélys. I had the pan-seared duck breast with chimichurri sauce, a fantastic combination of flavors. The chocolate fondant with yogurt ice cream and mint coulis was also excellent, with a very fresh and surprising combination that's a welcome change from classic desserts. You can tell there's a real attention to detail in the flavors and a particular focus on the ingredients. Special mention also goes to the service, which was impeccable from start to finish: welcoming, professional, and warm. A place I highly recommend!

The cuisine is refined, the ingredients excellent. The owner is very attentive. We have a particular fondness for their legendary dauphine potatoes served as a side dish 😄 We love it 👍

We went to this restaurant following a very good recommendation. The menu is rather limited, unfortunately, but the food was delicious. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. We did, however, find the tables a bit cramped and the background music a bit lacking. P.S. We absolutely must have the recipe for the dauphine potatoes; they were simply divine.

Excellent food, but the service was quick. It's a shame the servers weren't friendly. We had a reservation for 1:30 pm, and we were rushed to vacate the table. We had our starter, main course, dessert, and coffee in 40 minutes. The servers were noisily setting up tables for the next service, and the chairs and tables were being rearranged with a clatter. It was 2:15 pm, and we just wanted to leave the restaurant as quickly as possible. Why agree to serve at 1:30 pm if it's such a nuisance?

During a stopover in Brive-la-Gaillarde (Oléron-Marseille), we discovered this restaurant on a street behind the church (the tourist office team was a great help: thank you!). It's best to book, but we took a chance and got a table for two. The set menu is very affordable and refined. Enjoy your meal! 🥰

03/07/2026: What a wonderful and unexpected discovery this excellent restaurant was last Saturday! This day of mishaps ended on a delightful note. The manager and staff were incredibly kind (thank you so much for the precious glasses of water during our ordeal...) and encouraged us to give it a try. The setting is cozy, with a clean yet chic decor, creating the ambiance of a small, trendy business-neighborhood restaurant for discerning diners. This establishment takes simple dishes and elevates them into beautifully presented little masterpieces. I opted for the veal medallion, the cod hidden beneath its ravioli with mussels and that marvelous sauce; And finally, this strawberry ice cream with its melting white chocolate, adorned with a few strawberries and a stained-glass-shaped biscuit that I reluctantly devoured 😋 All this for a very reasonable price considering the remarkable quality of the food served; we're therefore close to perfection. It was exquisite, beautifully presented, and truly original in its approach to the dishes. It's impossible to guess what awaits you from the outside; going in and taking a chance is the best decision you can make. This place will delight lovers of good, well-crafted, and surprising cuisine. Special mention to the charming tattooed waitress, whose warmth and gentleness charmed us and soothed my overly sensitive heart. We're truly sorry about the motor oil spilled in front of your door... we won't hesitate to come back, without any mishaps this time 😅
02/07/2026: An excellent choice based on AI's recommendation. BIP Gourmand offers the best value for money. Fine, natural dishes without any fuss – not overdone! Good flow and friendly service. Creative, visually appealing without extreme flavors or too much Asian influence! An exquisite bottle of wine on the terrace in mild weather is highly recommended. It even makes a stopover at the Atlantique pleasantly break up 🚐 💛 Parking is 500 meters away at the barracks! We'll gladly come again…
