28/03/2024: We expect more from a star. We had lunch yesterday at Carmin following a “4-course formula, drinks included” gift. The PLUS: the wines were magnificent, we were able to choose them (3 different wines) according to our tastes and by following the advice of the sommelier passionate about his profession, thank you to him, a superb taste experience within Burgundy wines. CONS: the dishes were good but without any real originality, the rice served with the fish was too dry, the cheeses lacked flavor. The presentation of the dishes was very succinct, and non-existent for dessert (Paris Brest placed on the table as in any restaurant). And finally: 2 tables were occupied, 1 table for 8 people. and 1 table of 2 (ours), at the end of the meal the chef came to greet and exchange with the 8 people right next to us then left without speaking to us a single word: this is possible at the station brasserie, but unthinkable in a starred restaurant.
