Very nice place, classic brasserie

Good food in a very pleasant place Clean, good, beautiful and refined dish. Small suggestion, 7 hour pork, the string should be removed from the plates. Be careful with the servers to be more "attentive" to the customers ;o) I recommend

The food is very good, and Greg's service is excellent!

In decline, the quality is no longer there...!. Perhaps the development work is contributing to this! The value for money is no longer there... I would wait for better days.

Excellent cuisine, I had a plate of ribs with fries, served with a special mustard, and a glass of red wine, cooked just right, it was...impeccable. Overall I can't say it wasn't good but we noted a few details that could be improved. When we arrived, the waitress, perhaps the manager, gave us a cold welcome. Friendliness is not known, including with the staff. Service problems should not be felt by customers. You will have understood that the service is not really great. In terms of dishes, the oysters were fresh, yes, but totally dry. I even hesitated for a moment to eat them. The cassoulet tasted good, too bad the beans hadn't been simmered enough, fortunately everything else enhanced the dish. The ravioli were excellent, really nothing to complain about on this point. Concerning the wine list, the prices are reasonable and the white wine very fresh. This is appreciable because this is not always the case elsewhere. Otherwise the establishment remained in its juice which gives it a rather baroque but nice side. Overall I will say that I recommend this establishment but that it pays attention to small details which can be unpleasant.

We took a train from Carcassone to have lunch in Limoux, we chanced on Le Grand Cafe and are very glad we did. It was a bit cold and windy out so we sat inside. There was a lively atmosphere, all tables full The service was good. I had a beef burger (I don't usually eat hamburgers) but this was exceptionally good, very tasty and made from fresh mince meat. Husband had a pizza napolitana it was very good and a nice size. Great place to eat, we recommend it.
