10/05/2026: We have enjoyed an excellent lunch on Sunday. The ceazar salad is recommended as is the fish gratin. The menu is great value and the food is very good, freshly prepared and simply delicious. The service is attentive, friendly and efficient. Booking the table was easy and this restaurant bistro is comfortable, clean and not to be missed.

25/12/2025: This is the second year in a row we've ordered yule logs. The first year it was supposed to be chestnut, but there weren't any. This year it's mandarin, but the mandarin is frozen. Furthermore, the cream is grainy, watery, and doesn't look very appealing. Very disappointed.

08/08/2026: 19 euros for 2 pints of Pelfort beer on tap... More expensive than in town, more expensive than by the beach or in a nightclub... They're treating us like tourists, even though I know the prices are different if someone from Limoux orders... And they don't accept credit cards... Run away!

06/06/2026: A beautiful, charming that was once a convent. The rooms are very well appointed. The vale is superb. The town is very cute and central to exploring the region.

02/05/2026: Excellent stay at this hotel. A very warm and friendly welcome, a beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable room. Thank you also for the thoughtful touches, which are always appreciated. A truly wonderful place that I happily recommend.

17/08/2026: A rather disappointing experience. We waited a very long time before being served. Some ingredients were changed without informing us, and despite these changes, the price of the dish remained the same. As for the mayonnaise, it had been left in direct sunlight, with a temperature that must have exceeded 35°C (95°F), which seemed completely abnormal and did little to reassure us about the storage conditions. It was, in fact, inedible. The welcome was unfortunately not very warm either: few smiles and an unfriendly attitude, to the point of asking us if our presence was truly welcome. And to top it all off, when it came time to pay, we were given the bill from a neighboring table… Luckily, we checked before paying. In short, a very disappointing experience on several levels. Forget this concept.

09/08/2026: The food was decent in terms of taste and presentation, but the service was really poor. Was the waitress new to the job or just not interested? We asked her if she had amber or brown beers, and she replied, "I don't know, I don't drink them." We asked her what Limoux fricassée was, and she didn't know. She didn't say what was out of stock when she brought the menu, so of course we ordered, and then she told us they were out. The same thing happened with the desserts, even though there were only five on the menu and two were missing. And the bread... we asked for bread, and she said she'd heat some up because they were out. Okay, fine... well, we never saw any. When it came time to pay the bill, she forgot the coffees. When I pointed it out, she replied, "Oh yes, I forgot to write them down." Maybe I shouldn't have said anything!

05/08/2026: Having visited several times, I'm leaving a review that reflects both my customer experience and my professional background, having worked for many years in the restaurant industry as a cook, chef de partie, sous-chef, head chef, and also as a restaurant owner, in professional catering and my early days in Michelin-starred restaurants. My son has never complained about the sandwiches, so no worries there. And I've never had any complaints about the bar service either, as the staff is mostly friendly and polite, although unfortunately, I've noticed that some customers are less than courteous or even rude to the employees. The owner always has a smile on his face when I see him. After a meal on Saturday, August 1st, during which I ordered duck breast with fries, I also had a salad, melon and country ham, a cheese plate, and I tasted my wife's Aligot. Everything was good, although the duck breast was slightly overcooked (I had asked for it medium-rare), but oh well, otherwise it was tender. My duck breast was presented simply, but we're in a cafeteria, not a restaurant, so that's fine. I hope the owner finally finds his permanent team, which unfortunately keeps changing (this is often the case in the restaurant industry, and certainly in cafeterias as well). Two new people seem pretty good, and one other new person is friendly and smiling when I see her. My favorite was there, but not at the bar, and my second favorite wasn't there either. 20/04/2026: I come to eat lunch once a month and am never disappointed; the food is exceptional, the value for money is excellent, and the service is impeccable.

24/02/2026: Disappointed, rushed service, we felt like we were in the way, the pizzas weren't good, the pizza dough was like cardboard. I've had better experiences before, needs to be redone
