Le Grand Cafe sur Morzine

Excellent Swiss fondue with a glass of white wine from the sommelier, large tables and modern wooden decor. Very pleasant pierrade and appetizers. Lively atmosphere with varied clientele, very friendly and elegant service, without unnecessary cinema. Reasonable price for the resort and the whole is homogeneous and sincere. Good moments.

We came for the first time on Monday March 11 and it was good but we came back on the evening of March 13 and the service was deplorable. Long wait for a carafe of water Long wait for dessert No bread on the table We ask for the dessert menu, they bring us the bill Anyway, a lot of fault on the part of the servers Additionally, one of the long-haired waiters didn't know what was in the gourmet coffee. Instead of going to find out, he replied it's surprise. Really poor service

We stayed at the Amara across the street and the grand café was a great discovery. 2 take-out orders for dinner and the quality was there. a very good choice, a welcoming and warm team.

Good and nice restaurant Bad communication when reserving a table but we ended up finding one. A little long service and noisy restaurant but the food is good 👍

Dinner on the evening of February 8 with my pizza-loving son (the dad too). A Margherita for him, a vegetarian one for me. Excellent dough, thin and well raised and crispy edges, generous and good filling. The service is very attentive among the 4 people we interacted with. We were seated at a high table near the bar, a reservation was cancelled, we were offered to sit in the dining room at a classic table (perfect for comfort, especially for my right leg, which suffered a double fracture ago some months). In short, all this to say that we will come back, I hope, next year with great pleasure. 😊👍 And in terms of prices, identical to the other pizzerias in the resort which have a pleasant setting. Space point of view, spacious because we were allowed to have a table for four being only two. Thanks to the Grand Café team and long live Avo!

Our favourite restaurant in Avoriaz. We go there on every ski trip and it’s always excellent. Food is great and service is fantastic. Max in particular is an exceptional waiter who always gives a five-star service. Thank you!
