The menu is very limited, the service is great, and the atmosphere is decent.

Great dish of the day. Nice terrace in the shade among locals and tourists in Beaune.

The warm goat cheese salad was very good. The parsley ham was delicious, and our waitress was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. The setting is very nice.

It's a bit busy with all the cars when you're sitting on the terrace.

A very pleasant place. But you'll have to explain why one scoop of ice cream costs €2.30 and three scoops €7.80 (€2.30 x 3 = €6.90). But if you overlook the illogical nature of some of the prices, it's still quite reasonable.

The place is cute, however the service was slow and not particularly pleasant. The dishes were okay but definitely frozen, and the dessert wasn't properly thawed; the chocolate fondant was cold. Honestly, I think they have a lot of room for improvement.

A well-located brasserie offering a reasonably priced lunch menu... Croque monsieur, salad, fries, plus a gourmet coffee for €18. It's not homemade, you can tell, but it's edible. Perfect for a quick lunch break. The staff is very pleasant.

What can I say about the quality of an espresso when you arrive from Nice! It's not at all what we like. Not short enough, so the coffee becomes mediocre because it's overcooked. If you want a long coffee, go to the North or Belgium; they know how to make them there...

19/12/2025: A €20 lunch menu with a choice of two starters, two main courses and/or cheese, and dessert. It's very, very good. Homemade fries, excellent beef, perfect deviled eggs... and impeccable service. I was pleasantly surprised!
28/09/2025: We had to wait a bit in the rush, but after that everything was perfect. The pulled pork is highly recommended, and the local IPA is also very tasty. And lovely in the sun.

24/09/2026: The place to be, Place Carnot!! First of all, the building is magnificent and a testament to the splendor of its era… The decor is warm and contemporary; you immediately feel welcome… The two terraces are superb. The enchantment continues with the warm, professional, and efficient service from the team. The food is very good, and the prices are very reasonable compared to Beaune. Nice selection of wines. There's nothing to change; the brasserie spirit is perfectly captured in this establishment, which we highly recommend.
19/09/2026: Comfortable seating. Great prices.
