A well-located brasserie offering a reasonably priced lunch menu... Croque monsieur, salad, fries, plus a gourmet coffee for €18. It's not homemade, you can tell, but it's edible. Perfect for a quick lunch break. The staff is very pleasant.

What can I say about the quality of an espresso when you arrive from Nice! It's not at all what we like. Not short enough, so the coffee becomes mediocre because it's overcooked. If you want a long coffee, go to the North or Belgium; they know how to make them there...

19/12/2025: A €20 lunch menu with a choice of two starters, two main courses and/or cheese, and dessert. It's very, very good. Homemade fries, excellent beef, perfect deviled eggs... and impeccable service. I was pleasantly surprised!
28/09/2025: We had to wait a bit in the rush, but after that everything was perfect. The pulled pork is highly recommended, and the local IPA is also very tasty. And lovely in the sun.

27/07/2026: Thinking I was in for a treat when I ordered a salad meal, what a disappointment! Lots of greens with very little to go around. A basic, uninspired salad. Very, very expensive at €18, especially since the day before at Bistrot Rosette we had a decent salad meal. One has to wonder about the other dishes. I wouldn't recommend this place. The few other customers should have warned us.
