A fantastic find! This Asian restaurant tucked away in Tassin is absolutely amazing! They offer a variety of specialties inspired by South and East Asia. Everything is homemade and the dishes are prepared fresh to order, minimizing waste. I highly recommend it. You can even order one dish to share between two people!

A buffet experience... but in a home-style cooking setting. Starters and desserts are served buffet-style. Main courses remain unlimited but must be ordered in advance... to guarantee their quality!

Le Grand Pékin,
A truly exceptional restaurant! The buffet only offers very good, very fresh appetizers: spring rolls, steamed dumplings, sushi, and fritters. Then you order your own dishes as much as you like: Peking duck, beef, sirloin, onions, shrimp, Thai, spicy—all prepared by an exceptional chef, just like in a traditional restaurant, nothing like a buffet. I highly recommend it if you're in Lyon. Don't hesitate to make the detour to Tassin, Demi-Lune; it's well worth it!

Having walked past the restaurant several times, I must admit the storefront hadn't exactly caught my eye... We were recommended Le Grand Pékin by friends, so we went there hoping to rediscover Asian food.
After a friendly welcome, the servers explained the concept to us.
And indeed, it's nothing like the junk food you find at typical all-you-can-eat Asian restaurants.
We'll be back to continue exploring the extensive menu!

We are a family of four and we had a long journey down to Lyon. Although recommended by the hotel, (which I do not usually like due to comissioning agreements), as we were so tired we just needed a place to eat. On arrival, we were greeted positively and the menu clearly explained. The food is fresh and delicious and prices in line with current expectations. Our children were happy involved in the entire experience and most importantly there was no high handed French arrogance experience.

What a pleasant surprise!
First and foremost, a very welcome feature: a large parking lot is located right behind the restaurant, making parking easy.
Upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome. As for the food, I was tempted by almost all the appetizers, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. A special mention goes to the spring rolls, which were excellent!
The all-you-can-eat option is a real bonus, without compromising the quality. I even got a second helping of Peking duck with Cantonese rice… a real treat!
Despite the hefty bill of €75 for two, this is an excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely unmissable!
If you love Asian food, it's simply DIVINE.
Everything is homemade, and that makes such a difference compared to a typical all-you-can-eat buffet (which serves frozen food).
Every dish is simply exquisite, from appetizer to dessert.
Thank you for the delicious meal.
