While strolling through Angers, as our stomachs began to rumble, my partner and I stumbled upon this little restaurant. The enticing aroma wafting from it and the clear, uncluttered menu drew us in. The friendly service was much appreciated, and the dishes we were served were delicious! A special touch was the wood-fired grilling done right in front of the other diners! We didn't have time for dessert, but we'll definitely be back next time we're in Angers!

A wonderful discovery in the heart of Angers. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, refined cuisine, and a charming setting. We had a lovely evening and enjoyed a delicious meal. A perfect date night. The service was impeccable. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic find! The food was excellent, everything is homemade, cooked over a wood fire which makes all the difference, and all at a very reasonable price. A huge plus was the two servers, who were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. We even went back the next day because it was so good! I highly recommend it.

The onion soup and soft-boiled egg were very good. The butcher's cut cooked over a wood fire, the camembert cooked with new potatoes, and the crémet d'Anjou and chocolate fondant were excellent.

April 4, 2026: An excellent dinner at Le Grandgousier... Perfectly prepared and delicious dishes, a very pleasant welcome and service, all with a beautiful fireplace where the grilled meats are prepared. Don't hesitate to book. We recommend it without hesitation.

14/05/2026: We organized a surprise birthday party for my daughter with 19 people! The surprise was a success!!! Thank you "Le Connétable" for your hospitality. Everything was perfect!!! Highly recommended!!!
13/05/2026: A pretty good crêperie in the city center. The neighborhood is lively, and the restaurant is well located. We got a table without a reservation on a Saturday night. The savory crêpes were good, but I think they could have been more generously filled. So we ordered sweet crêpes. The caramelized apple crêpes were a bit too sweet, and the homemade frangipane crêpe was surprisingly runny. The sparkling apple juice was very good! The service is quick and friendly, so it's still a good place to eat.

01/05/2026: A magnificent evening, flawless in every way. We were also lucky enough to have a musical performance. A true meeting place and a place for sharing, just the way we like them. Thank you for everything, don't change a thing!
30/04/2026: A wonderful time at this restaurant: a truly warm welcome, you immediately feel at ease. The dishes are excellent, with a special mention for the ravioli—the best I've ever had! A nice touch on Wednesdays: the music. Last night, a piano/vocal duo created a fantastic atmosphere, to the point that everyone joined in the singing. A simple, friendly evening with quality cuisine. The owner is very kind and attentive. Thank you again!
