Le Grenier a Sel sur Chagny

Lunch in this restaurant on a Monday lunchtime as we were passing through the area. Quick and pleasant welcome. We love the fireplace kitchen. The interior has character. You have to like the old one but it's well decorated. We had a burger and andouillette. It was very good. Too bad the fries are not homemade (I often repeat myself on this aspect in my reviews but I love homemade fries). Otherwise everything was very good. Very good value for money. Very nice chef

The decor of this place is just incredible, stone walls, wrought iron chandeliers and a fireplace where your food is prepared with perfect mastery! Recommendation ? Go there, you will enjoy it.

Meal on 08/28/2024, in the evening. Exceptional! We received a warm welcome. Our meals were very good: fresh quality products. The place is charming, especially as we took advantage of places outside. An excellent welcome was offered to us (it's rare to have this kind of commercial gesture)! And the desserts: killer... It's a very worthy restaurant.

Ce restaurant, une véritable pépite où tout est exceptionnel : Nous y retournons souvent pour déguster l’un des nombreux mets de qualité servis bien chaud dans un cadre très classe et une atmosphère bien saine. L’équipe très soudée, attentive, conciliante et formidablement aimable exécute un travail redoutablement efficace. C’est de loin le meilleur restaurant de la région avec un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel (exemple : 23€80 pour une délicieuse salade, confit de canard fondant, gratin et haricots verts craquants, généreux vacherin, apéro et salade gratuits). Mieux vaut réserver (sur Google) pour obtenir la chance d’y accéder. Merci.

Very good restaurant that I obviously recommend in this beautiful town of Chagny! We arrived around 9 p.m. without reservation and were very well received with a warm welcome. The teams are top notch, the setting with the central fireplace is friendly and finally the traditional dishes are good. Special mention for the snails, the wine fondue and the fromage frais 😋 we will come back with pleasure! Thanks to you

Warm and pleasant restaurant! However, be careful in summer, it is hot inside: do not bring a sweater or pants. A kir or orange juice is offered to you with delicious green olives 😋 The cuisine is delicious at reasonable prices: the salt granary fondue is very delicious but the other choices are just as exquisite. The staff is pleasant and professional.

Avevamo prenotato due settimane prima un tavolo in questo locale che ci sembrava interessante, ma all’arrivo ci hanno affibbiato il tavolo più scomodo del ristorante, proprio di fronte al calore immenso della griglia. Ho fatto notare che avevo prenotato ben due settimane prima ma mi è stato detto che non era quello il criterio con cui venivano assegnati i tavoli. Posto che quindi non abbiamo capito esattamente quale sia il criterio di assegnazione dei tavoli alla clientela, e che per farci contenti ci hanno poi relegato in un angolo lontano nel cortile lasciando liberi più tavoli vicino a noi per tutta la serata, possiamo dire di avere mangiato abbastanza bene ma che certamente non torneremo. Né lo consigliamo. Siamo generosi nella valutazione solo per non essere troppo scortesi. Tavoli di quel tipo non dovrebbero proprio esistere, né per noi né per alcun altro.
