Noisy, good food and service, beautiful setting, but expensive.

We had a wonderful time at Le Gril des Barbares in Senlis! The welcome was perfect, warm, and very attentive. The team went out of their way to ensure their customers had a pleasant experience. The service was meticulous, with all the dishes served at once. The food was excellent, with homemade dishes prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. From start to finish, everything was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be back!

Top-notch service and generous portions! For a budget of 99 euros for two, the value for money is excellent, especially considering the quality of the service. The dish was a 1.2 kg rib of beef to share, with very few bones. The meat was very tender and perfectly cooked. We were each able to choose a side dish and a sauce. Special mention for the sides: the fries were delicious, perfectly crispy with a truly artisanal taste, and the roasted butternut squash was a delightful surprise, perfectly seasoned. My partner ordered a small bottle of wine, which he enjoyed. This was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we had during our stay. The servers (a young woman and a young man with a mustache) were smiling, calm, and helpful. We received several suggestions, but we never felt pressured to buy anything. Often, the suggestions were to our advantage. The chef brought our desserts directly to us. It was a very thoughtful touch to prevent the dessert from melting or to avoid a long wait, even though he seemed very rushed. My only slight regret is that the waitress recited the list of side dishes a little too quickly, which caused a bit of confusion when we ordered. It would be helpful if this information were written on the menu or a separate card; we might have missed it. I highly recommend it and we will gladly return next time.

A very warm welcome and a place worth discovering, as it's located in the basement. A superb experience, excellent cuisine, and generous portions. A real treat.
