The setting is magnificent and the meal was very good.

Nice surprise, a unique place which invites you to contemplate the time passing under these stone vaults. The kitchen lives up to the sober and efficient setting, the only downside is that an unpleasant smell somewhat upset my nostrils upon arrival. To discover.

A special mention for this restaurant which welcomes us in a 13th century Gothic room. Refined and generous cuisine: homemade dishes using quality products. Menus for groups (there were around thirty of us) but also express lunch options. The staff is top notch. What kindness! And more effective. Closed on Sunday and Monday all day. Enjoy the little farmer's plate (house specialty). The meat is absolutely fabulous straight from Rungis. A very good address to keep.

Very charming restaurant, very pleasant and friendly basement room. The cuisine is very successful, precise and varied. Kitchen 10/10. But service is quite the opposite. Pick it up completely. 5 people to serve 30 customers and it’s a race. Very long service, not orderly, repeated forgetting of bread. Both a very good surprise and a big disappointment,

Warm atmosphere in a very nice setting, good food and very professional service

Super beautiful place, adorable waiters, very good food… but the boss… super unpleasant. Friendly as a prison door, argues with his waiter because he offered 2 lollipops to our children even though we ONLY spent 100 euros… “you’re giving in for 100 bucks, aren’t you going to offer lollipops? " ashamed! If a minimum amount of spending is required to be well received, you might as well write it on the door “no smile below 200e”. Well otherwise the waiters are really perfect and deserve a medal, it must not be easy for them every day…

Good team and the boss is very friendly and gives good advice, too bad the bill can quickly add up

We went here as the lunch part of a day-long chateaux tour. What a great experience. Hidden away downstairs in a quite ordinary shopfront is a medieval vaulted ceiling treasure. While the a la carte might have been expensive we took advantage of the prix fixe 25 euro lunch. We expected good food but it was the best meal we had in France. The entire table of 5 agreed on that. The service from the maitre d', the wait staff and the chefs in the open kitchen just up the stairs was first class. It reminded us that some of the best restaurants in France aren't in Paris but spread throughout. The meat was tender, the veggies fresh, the dessert beautiful and the beer choices just right. If I get back to this area when visiting from Australia you can bet I will be going again.
