Le Grill sur Rennes

Fourth time I've been, the food is still as good, the staff are still as friendly, in short, I'll be back again :)

Traditional cuisine, nothing special. Poor value for money. €28 for a Breton "entrecôte" (more like a flank steak) is expensive per kilo! The sauces are made fresh in the morning, and it shows in the evening. Excellent mashed potatoes and very pleasant and competent service. We won't be going back. Overall, it was okay, but really expensive for what you get. Next!

Excellent restaurant. My wife and I arrived in Rennes temporarily on June 20th, and with a big appetite that evening, we discovered this restaurant with its lovely setting and great atmosphere 😺. The restaurant is divided into two sections: - one section for groups and a bit of a lively atmosphere - a more intimate section View of the kitchen and the chefs. The food: We ordered the two "Rennais" burgers and the duck burger, plus the profiteroles (which are definitely worth the trip) and a gourmet tea. Verdict --> everything was delicious and very flavorful. The burgers, wow (Burger King, you can't compete). Honestly, kudos to the chefs. The servers are friendly. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Rennes again. Okay 🐺👍

Had a delightful dinner here. I attach photos. We had two drinks, a bottle of Perrier, two entree, two plats, one cheese and one dessert, it was the €32 menu plus wine, in total it came to €115 which is more or less £100. Yannis our waiter has good English and a good understanding of the wine list and also the preparation of the dishes; indeed he also sliced ham on the massive slicing machine which takes a prominent position in the dining room. We drank a bottle of Parallel 45 which matched our food well. If we return to Rennes, we’ll certainly eat here again.

My partner and I loved it! The storefront is discreet, but the interior is incredibly cozy, warm, clean, and bright. The waiter was very attentive. There's an open kitchen. The restrooms are spotless (with music and film clips that transport you back in time). The dishes are homemade, prepared with passion. The pig's trotter croquettes are a delicious novelty. Serrano ham is sliced ​​to order in the dining room. The crème brûlée has real vanilla at the bottom of the dish. I chose this restaurant for its location, the decor, and my partner's big appetite, as he's usually still hungry after leaving a restaurant. "Le Grill" won us over. We'll definitely be back.
