We ate there this evening before going to the cinema. A very nice, authentic place, simple and affordable food in Aix (a very good omelet and crème caramel, just like in my childhood). A bistro like in the old days! Go there without hesitation!

Always great fun here. The dining room upstairs is magnificent! Fun friendly staff. Great menu with extremely reasonable prices. Foie Gras is a huge and generous portion which we shared in three. Chicken & chips €7.90!!! Seafood salad. Pistou pasta. Champagne and wine. Good dessert’s. Would highly recommend. I have eaten here 3 times now. Dog friendly.

Stepping into this Parisian-style brasserie, you're immediately greeted by its lively atmosphere, with waiters who don't dawdle and maintain a smile despite the crowds. But you're definitely in Provence. The earthenware crickets (actually cicadas) adorn the walls, a constant reminder of this. The decor is vintage, but you'll appreciate the timeless character of this establishment. Go for the steak tartare, the calf's liver, and all the traditional dishes you'd expect from a proper brasserie. The panisses are excellent, and the wine list is varied.
