It’s OK. Same as every French mountain resort, they still struggle to serve vegetarian food (maybe more pertinent with recent climate based burning?) The poke bowl was balanced but uninspiring. You sit outside with smokers (pffftt). Wine list very limited by the glass, especially white, although that’s typical of the area (2 options). Plus side, they were cool with the dog, it was a chilled lunch time vibe, the Jamaican coffee was delicious and the service was good.

Excellent restaurant. Very efficient service! Varied and well-prepared dishes, and especially homemade desserts (the tarte tatin is divine!).

A fantastic find in Saint-Lary! We had a wonderful time at Le Gros Minet. The varied menu truly offers something for everyone, with particularly good options for vegetarians. The dishes are delicious, generous, and beautifully presented, all in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

First visit, Excellent meals.
Muscles, pork, house burger & vegetable wok. All been some of the best meals we had this week in the village.
Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The dish was very good, tasty, and beautifully presented. Be sure to wash the salad thoroughly (it had caterpillars). The "homemade" desserts weren't excellent.
