The star is well-deserved. Succulent from start to finish. The wine pairing enhanced the tasting experience. Amuse-bouches, petits fours, hors d'oeuvres, and pre-desserts perfectly complemented the meal. Impeccable service. A peaceful overnight stay with a generous breakfast. All this in a setting that blends tradition and modernity, reflecting the couple, parents and children, who run this wonderful restaurant. My best friend and I were completely won over.

A fifth visit that will remain a timeless moment with explosions of flavors, sparks of color, accompanied by a subtle wine pairing and a welcome and service full of kindness and elegance. A Family with a capital "F", who share the talent of "great chefs". Bravo again to you, and thank you for this enchanting interlude. We are already planning to return.... With a little massage as a bonus....

A meal, what am I saying, a palette of flavors, colors, smells... a pleasure for the eyes,... 11 dishes, but what a joy and a discovery of very high gastronomy... it was a meal for my birthday offered by my darling...

Fully justifies its star in the red guide

A beautiful spot on the banks of the Allier, and a superb welcome from the Brun family. A perfect menu from start to finish, special mention for the venison fillet which paired magnificently with a 2010 Fonsalette from Emmanuel Reynaud. Note the very well-stocked cellar, with fine references, and what's more, at affordable prices. A must-visit address!

Excellent cuisine from start to finish, the dishes are flavorful and exquisitely crafted. The chef came to greet us at the table for a very pleasant chat, conveying his passion with all humility. Unfortunately, I must deduct one star for the service, which impressed us all during this family meal. The first glass of wine was served, then the bottle was placed on a table we didn't have direct access to. Afterward, there was no more service; we had to get up to pour ourselves a second glass. Midway through the meal, the bread (which was otherwise very good) ran out, and we had to wait for more to be baked. As soon as we paid our bill at 4 p.m., we were told it was time to leave, but without much formality. We felt it was a shame to be left with this final negative impression, when the kitchen team's work is excellent and deserves much better. To be fair I should point out that we arrived 10 minutes late, and with 2 children, the youngest of whom spilled her ice cream.
