A mixed stay and it's a shame because the gastronomy and flavors were there. The young chef who came to meet us at the end of the meal and whom we congratulated as well as his young wife who kindly changed a starter we ordered based on a misunderstanding (ah, those curcubitaceae!) were charming. But the welcome given by the owner of the place was not up to all that. First of all, when booking, the tone was really not warm. On the other hand, we experienced a small mishap: as an aperitif, my wife ordered a blackberry juice. At the moment of opening, under the effect of fermentation, it gushed out everywhere, splashing the tablecloth, the armchair, the floor and especially my wife's pants and top. Fortunately, she did not opt ​​for linen or white cotton that evening and avoided disaster! She tried, while minimizing things and keeping a smile, in the face of the annoyance of the young waitress, to erase the stains on her clothes with a jug of water. So she continued the meal with her pants all wet, a napkin on the tablecloth and another on her chair…. I think that in other restaurants (even if not Michelin) the tablecloth and the armchair would have been changed! but we didn't say anything! Only the next day when leaving, the owner announced that there were two aperitifs left to pay. Not only did she not ask if the incident had any consequences for the clothes but she asked for the amount of the aperitif which had not been consumed and for good reason! It wasn’t very delicate to say the least! I paid for my aperitif (€17). Given the inconveniences of the day before, I think she could have offered it to me as a commercial gesture. We had done everything, I think, to remain pleasant and smiling despite our mishap. We were therefore a little shocked by this attitude, especially since in the morning, at breakfast, she had us, in a somewhat cavalier manner. , even military, forced to have breakfast outside and at 8:15 a.m., it was really not hot. The thermometer on the terrace showed 10 degrees. During this heatwave, we did not bring a sweater and we had breakfast, which was delicious, with a parka for me and a blanket for my wife, fortunately found in the car! This spoiled the fun a little... Incidentally, if breakfast is obligatory outside, you can expect to find a cleaned terrace and a tablecloth. As for the hotel, our son was disappointed to discover the suite's services in photos. He gave us the most beautiful one and apparently it wasn’t what he had planned! The room was not very warm, the bathroom a little dated, as for the bathrobes, it was impossible to put them on because they were so rough and stiff. A pair of slippers was also missing which was provided a little late, when we were going to dinner. For a room at this price you can expect better! Our deep nature encourages us to keep only the best: the smile of this young couple, the delicious meal, this exquisite sea bream and this divine porcini puree (even if I had to wait for the second course to be served). wine 😉) We might not have written if we hadn't been really shocked by the casual attitude upon departure!.

Hotel where you can go there with your eyes closed, the rooms are perfect, nothing is missing, the meals are quality and the welcome too.

Expérience au restaurant gastronomique: bonne cuisine, qualité et service impeccables, mais salle froide, sans charme particulier. Prix élevé pour 1seule *. Pas de carte et 1er menu à 72€ !

Quelle bonne surprise! Bel établissement où l'on se sent tout de suite bien. Excellent accueil de la part de l'équipe, produits de qualité et locaux. Très jolie plateau de fromage avec un large choix. Très belle terrasse, dommage que l'on ne puisse pas y manger dessus. Excellent!! Merci à toute l'équipe.

Un lieu où les valeurs de sincérité et d'authenticité s'épanouissent pleinement ! Depuis 5 ans, nous réservons dans cet établissement, et à chaque visite, nous sommes comblés de bonheur, que ce soit en couple, en famille ou entre amis. Monsieur et Madame Brun, père et fils, savent parfaitement comment créer des moments uniques et mémorables grâce à leur talent, leur gentillesse et leur authenticité. Nous tenons à les remercier chaleureusement de rendre nos séjours véritablement inoubliables.

Jolie découverte de la haute vallée de l’allier par le biais de cet hôtel très agréable et idéalement situé, qui permet depuis sa porte des randonnées piétonnes et à vélo variées et sportives. Les chambres sont fonctionnelles et cosy, bien équipées, notamment d’une climatisation silencieuse. La partie restaurant se révèle de très bon niveau. Le jeune chef qui reprend la cuisine à la suite de son père, apporte quelques inspirations asiatiques bien venues et maîtrisées dans des plats ancrés dans le terroir. Le maquereau à la flame souligné par des lentilles du Puy est simplement délicieux. Sans parler de la purée aux cèpes accompagnant comme une récompense les plats de riz de veau et de cochon de bigorre. Les haricots verts en plusieurs façons s’avèrent bien plus sexy que l’on ne pourrait le croire. Une belle découverte qui peut inciter à venir se perdre dans ce bel endroit reculé.

Restaurant gastronomique, cuisine excellente, attendez vous a des tarifs en rapport. Service un peu trop rapide entre chaque plat.
