Le Helder sur Cessenon-Sur-Orb

We went on Saturday, July 11th, and received a very warm welcome while enjoying an aperitif and doing our shopping. The staff is very friendly.

Only popped in for a drink but stayed for food as it had live music. Had half a 4 cheese pizza with salad, which was was nice and filling. Beer here is well priced with very good service.

Passing through this beautiful village for my geology studies, I had the immense pleasure of discovering this brasserie! The food is as delicious as the welcome you'll receive! An incredible team! Thank you, Richard, for your hospitality; it's always a pleasure to stop by for a coffee, or more if you're so inclined! Thank you to Fanny for her energy and zest for life! And finally, thank you to Claire for being so kind and radiant! Special mention to Phiphi: Arvi, my friend! Your pizzas are delicious; I look forward to seeing you in the mountains! Second visit... Surprise... The brand-new waitress was very friendly and smiling, while the second one, who seemed rather "older," was less pleasant. The plates were practically thrown onto the table, cold; I ordered a ribeye steak, which was cold, and my husband's duck breast was also cold. When dessert arrived, we were served again by the young new waitress, and it was much better.

Popular with lunchtime locals, Le Helder is right next to the church in the centre of town and offers value and decent, honest grub. Fast, friendly service. We have lamb chops and chicken burger between us, aperos, a medium pichet of red and of course coffee. €50, no complaining from me. I noticed the charcuterie and cheese board door two at another table looked impressively large and varied, will give that a whirl next time.

A warm and inviting experience in the heart of the village, with original, lively, and very pleasant decor. The team was fantastic! Thank you, I highly recommend it.

Nice lunch at a reasonable price. Lunch time menu is good value. One thing to note is that the service was excellent…very attentive and a huge improvement from my last visit.
