Peaceful location, very nice room

We came for dinner last night as a couple, with a sea view, refined dishes, and excellent service! We highly recommend it.

We discovered the restaurant L'Homard Bleu last April, during our last evening on the Île d'Oléron. The very short menu initially surprised us a little, but this is explained by the fact that the dishes are made to order with fresh, seasonal produce. The set menu was particularly attractively priced, so we decided to try the full menu. Each dish was a true discovery. High-quality ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, flavorful, expertly prepared, and refined cuisine, worthy of a gourmet restaurant. The value for money is simply remarkable! This restaurant was a wonderful surprise and the perfect way to end our vacation, with the added bonus of a stunning sea view. We highly recommend it!

Top-notch place, don't hesitate to go. We had a wonderful meal; we opted for the €29 set menu (starter/main/dessert), and the value for money was simply perfect. The food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. The portions were very generous.

While the room we booked was of average size, it was well-equipped and very clean. My wife and I just spent three days at this hotel and we are extremely pleased with our choice. The staff were very courteous and attentive to guests' needs, especially in our case, as an elderly couple with a disability (reserved parking space and luggage assistance). They also demonstrated great business integrity (the management called us the day after our departure to inform us that we would receive a refund due to an error in the accounting system, even though we hadn't specifically requested it because we hadn't noticed it ourselves). Thank you again. We will gladly return to this hotel if we have the opportunity.

I regularly eat at this restaurant, and each time it's a delightful surprise. The dishes are technically perfect and elegant, made with homemade, seasonal ingredients, all served in a beautiful setting by the beach with a view of the bridge. I highly recommend you try it for yourself.

A superb establishment where every visit is unique. I never tire of it. The terrace is beautiful and very convenient. After a meal at the restaurant, we had a wonderful time; the chef is a star, and the service is top-notch! It was divine. Enjoy without moderation.

What a welcome! The couple who run this hotel are incredibly kind and attentive to their guests' needs. I arrived here after a long walk on the beaches of Oléron and felt completely at ease. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The location is superb, and the owners are incredibly thoughtful. I will definitely return on my next trip around the island!

A pleasant surprise! We came for dinner as a family and the food was excellent. Local and 100% homemade. A small menu, but a guarantee of quality. To give you an idea, my 3 and 5-year-old children ate the main course (white fish, gnocchi, mashed potatoes)! Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the main course because it was so delicious!

Following our stay at the hotel and restaurant: The restaurant service was discreet, friendly, and of high quality. The dishes were refined and sophisticated. The breakfast was very varied, offering something for everyone! The hotel was quiet and impeccably clean, with superb bedding. The icing on the cake was its location just steps from the beach.
